The 8-Bit Big Band, a 33-member jazz/pops orchestra created by Charlie Rosen, presents unprecedented “big band” performances of original arrangements of popular video game music.
It’s a high-energy celebration of the breadth and richness of music from globally popular video game franchises, including the Super Mario series, the Legend of Zelda series, Final Fantasy, Donkey Kong, and Pokemon. The performance features special guests, including Grace Kelly B.M. ’12; Berklee College of Music faculty members Sarpay Özçağatay and Sara Caswell; and Berklee student Carlos (insaneintherain) Eiene.
