Original jazz influenced by rhythms and melodies of the Caribbean and Eastern Europe. Featuring rarely heard percussion of Martinique Julian Gerstin is a veteran of many African, Latin and jazz bands. Much of the music of this ensemble stems from Julian’s two-year experience living in Martinique, studying and performing traditional music.
