Warm up a cold January night with some Brazilian music! The Sergio Mendes Project is a tribute to the pianist and bandleader who popularized Brazilian music in the U.S. From Brasil '66 to the 1992 Grammy-winning "Brasileiro" album and beyond, Sergio Mendes has brought his seductive sound to bossa nova, samba, jazz, and pop, introducing some of Brazil's best composers, including Edu Lobo, Ivan Lins, and Jorge Ben, and adding his own Brazilian flavor to classics by the Beatles, Bacharach/David, Stevie Wonder and more.
