Unified is a celebration of the art of the African Diaspora through the lens of Berklee. It will showcase talent from both the Conservatory and the College, coming together in one accord to honor our lineage. The intention of this show is not only to highlight the importance of authentic cultural representation, but also to contribute to the cultural diversity and richness of our campus. The show will include not only students of the diaspora, but also individuals of any identity who appreciate and honor the art of the African Diaspora.
This event will feature a collaboration of visual and sonic elements, with performances representing regions across the African continent and diaspora. Presentations will include, but are not limited to, vocalists, instrumentalists, dancers, actors, and spoken-word artists.
