The “World Leaders” ensemble will celebrate the rich and colorful tradition of South African Jazz. We will play compositions by Abdullah Ibrahim, Hugh Maskela, Winston Mankunku, Alan Salinga and others. The stellar band members are Horace Alexander Young, Jim Repa, Kathy Olson woodwinds; Aaron Goldberg piano, John Baboian guitar and trombone, Bob Sinicrope bassist and band leader and South African drummer Lumanyano Mzi.
