YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD SAXOPHONE QUARTET 31ST ANNIVERSARY REUNION

Your Neighborhood Saxophone Quartet (YNSQ) celebrates its thirty-first anniversary with a concert on April 8, 2011 at the First Congregational Church, Cambridge, 8:00 pm. This concert will reunite current and past members of the quartet to play new compositions and to revisit music from throughout the group’s history.

Founded in 1980 during the height of the improvising sax quartet craze, YNSQ went on to release six recordings and to perform hundreds of concerts throughout the United States and Europe, including nine European tours. This concert will bring together current YNSQ members Allan Chase, Cercie Miller, Joel Springer, and Tom Hall with former members Danny Bittker and Steve Adams (now with ROVA Saxophone Quartet)....
