With over 6 million hits on YouTube, internationally acclaimed baritone saxophonist and singer Zach Mayer, arrives for his Boston debut performance at Ryles Jazz Club on Thursday, April 9th at 8:30 PM.

Mayer performs alone, using only the baritone sax, his voice and a looping pedal to "duplicate" himself live onstage, creating the funky and upbeat sound of over five saxophones playing together in close harmony, over which he sings his earnest and honest songs.

Based in New York City, Mayer has played with Grammy Winners John Zorn and Frank London, and has also performed with Deer Tick, Congolese rapper Baloji, and Cyro Baptista, and has shared the stage with Bobby McFerrin, Questlove, Dave Koz and Jamie Cullum. He has performed at the Krakow Festival in Poland, the Ashkenaz Festival in Toronto, at the Teatro Manzoni in Milan, on the Dave Koz and Friends at Sea cruise to the Mediterranean, and at the Village Vanguard, Webster Hall, the Bowery Ballroom, the Blue Note, Joe’s Pub and the Highline Ballroom in NYC.
