Dcr Hp Jazz Festival

The Annual Hyde Park Jazz Festival was founded and organized by saxophonist/educator Daniel Ian Smith. It is a free, outdoor festival featuring world class artists in the Jazz and World Music genres, many from the greater Boston and New England area. Performers have included Nick Grondin, Mark Walker and the Rhythm of the Americas Ensemble, The Suprasonics, Ron Reid and Sunsteel, Tim Ray, Daniel Ian Smith and a Collective Directive, and the Phil Sargent Quartet.
