Jazz On The Plaza With Harvard Jazz Bands, Directed By Yosvany Terry, With Saxophonist Don Braden '85 at Science Center Plaza

Harvard Jazz Bands, led by saxophonist Yosvany Terry and trumpet player Mark Olson, will present the annual jazz concert May 3 on the Science Center Plaza during Harvard's ARTS FIRST Festival (May 2-5). Saxophonist and composer Don Braden '85, lauded by the New York Times as "brilliant and assured," will be the guest artist.

Braden has performed as a leader or as a sideman in a vast array of venues such as Carnegie Hall (Carnegie Hall Jazz Orchestra, McDonald's All American High School Band), Lincoln Center (Illinios Jacqueet Big Band, 1993 Battle Royale, Mos Def), Symphoy Hall in Boston (Wynton Marsalis) among many others. Club appearances include performances in New York's Village Vanguard, Blue Note, Sweet Basil (Sweet Rhythm), Birdland, and others in the Americas, Europe, Japan, Russia and Australia.
