The Brooklyn-Beehive Series presents the hippest cutting edge NYC players. This is an exciting event - The Julian Shore Band with Julian Shore, Tommy Crane, Aidan Carroll, Jeff Miles, and Alexa Barchini. Touring and performing with great artists like Gretchen Parlato, and Cris Creek, Julian brings his own project to The Beehive.

For Julian Shore, the keyboard is an extension of the human voice, a lyrically charged vehicle for his exquisite melodies that glide, soar and swoop with all the balletic precision of a red-tail hawk riding an updraft. His new album Filaments, slated for release on September 18, is a strikingly beautiful, often ethereal collection of tunes and songs with lyrics by Alexa Barchini, who also contributes lithe, lambent vocals on six of the album’s 10 tracks.
