Mandorla Music Presents John Kordalewski Trio Featuring Carlos Pino & Kesivan Naidoo at Third Life Studio

For many years, pianist John Kordalewski has helmed the acclaimed Makanda Project, an all-star "little big band" devoted to the compositions of the late Makanda Ken McIntyre. I'm pleased to welcome him for a rare appearance in a very different setting - a classic piano trio. John will be joined by bassist Carlos Pino and drummer Kesivan Naidoo.

Carlos Pino is one of the most versatile bass players that has emerged from Colombia in recent years. Carlos is currently completing his Masters degree in jazz studies at the New England Conservatory.

Kesivan Naidoo is recognized as one of South Africa's top jazz drummers, and presently makes his home in NYC after spending some time in Boston at Berklee's Global Jazz Initiative. ...
