The Marco Pignataro Jazzet features jazz piano virtuoso Laszlo Gardony, Matt Marvuglio on flute, Ehud Ettun on bass and Paolo Orlandi on drums. Special guest appearances by Somer O'Brien on accordion and Jorge Perez Albela on percussion.

Marco Pignataro is a multi-talented saxophone player, composer and educator originally from Bologna, Italy. Marco maintains a very active international schedule of concerts, recordings and clinics and he has shared stages with artists such as Eddie Gomez, JoAnne Brakeen Danilo Pérez, Jon Faddis, Ben Street, John Patitucci and George Garzone, amongst many others. Together with Danilo Perez, Marco currently leads the Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI), the premiere jazz center of musical creativity at Berklee College of Music in Boston. His latest CD "Sofia's Heart", was produced by jazz legend Eddie Gomez and recorded with a stellar group including Gomez and Billy Drummond. Marco is also a member of the Eddie Gomez Quintet, which just released the acclaimed CD "Per Sempre" for the label BFM Jazz....
