Mike Caudill is a Boston-based saxophonist and composer who has performed with iconic jazz figures like Sean Jones, Randy Brecker, Dick Oatts, Dave Liebman, Sheila Jordan, and Karrin Allyson, as well as groups like the acclaimed alternative rock group, “10,000 Maniacs.” Influenced deeply by the jazz tradition, Mike also cites rock, folk, and classical genres among his inspirations, and his arrangements reflect these varied interests.

Mike holds a master’s degree in Jazz Arranging and Composition from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He currently writes for and performs with groups across New England, including his own quartet, which released the album “Pictures Around Us” last year to accompany a tour of the Mid-Atlantic and Nashville, TN area. His compositions have received recognition from several groups including ASCAP’s Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer program and the 360 Degree Jazz Initiative at UNC Chapel Hill. Richard Garcia is a graduate of NEC’s Jazz Master’s program. He is currently performing all over New England with various ensembles as well as teaching saxophone, composition and arranging lessons at Boston College, Westwood High school’s Prodigy School of Music and Jammin’ With You. Richard has just released his debut album entitled, “Don’t Look Back” and production by New York saxophonist Michael Thomas. He has also had the pleasure of touring and teaching in Costa Rica as part of a mission to deliver quality Jazz education to underprivileged students.
