the Mobius Group, a quartet, plays laptop electronics, trombone, and a theremin, no less. This is stratospheric music, both classical and contemporary. Electro-acoustic improvisation and DIY pathways tackle a new sonic idea.
Cereal, a trio, plays alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and trumpet. Influences of jazz and folk collide; drone and meditational practices explore the liminal states of sound. Musicians: Keiichi Hashimoto, Kelley Roberge, and Jesse Kaminsky, host of WMBRs radio program The Intercontinental.
