Arlington, MA, April 3, 2018 – Muse Stew returns to the ArtLounge in Arlington Heights for another great show on Sunday, April 15th from 7-9p. The group will be premiering three new compositions by bandleader, Scott Samenfeld and will also feature vocalist, Jenny Herzog.

Muse Stew is an Arlington, MA based ensemble that has been performing around Boston since 1990. It released two CDs of original jazz: “Crossings” - 1996 and “Live at the Zeitgeist Gallery” - 2004. Bandleader Scott Samenfeld (Bass) is joined by Susanna Fiore on Piano, Diane Wernick (Saxes), Karen Gruber (Congas and Percussion), and Chris Botos (Trombone). Arlington, MA, April 3, 2018 – Muse Stew returns to the ArtLounge in Arlington Heights for another great show on Sunday, April 15th from 7-9p. The group will be premiering three new compositions by bandleader, Scott Samenfeld and will also feature vocalist, Jenny Herzog.

Vocalist and Tap dancer, Jenny Herzog will round out the group.

“Jenny performed with us back in October and we had a great time. We're so happy to have her join us again for this show. We're looking forward to having her back on the bandstand” said Samenfeld. “She adds a whole other dimension to the group.”

Herzog is the Founder and Executive Director of Moving Stories, an organization that partners with local organizations to create live, full-length productions integrating storytelling, music, and dance. Each production addresses a pressing social issue, and seeks to raise awareness through the lens of personal experience. She will be directing another performance of Moving Stories at Wellesley College on April 20th as part of a residency there.

The ArtLounge Arlington is located at 1346 Mass. Ave. in Arlington Heights. In addition to providing “paint nights” it also provides a venue for local music.
