The Nextet returns to Ryles with an energetic and varied show of original contemporary and cover Jazz, R&B, Latin and funky grooves. Led by Nate Aronow on keys, the band is a six-piece power-packed group with horns out front, and features some of Boston’s hottest cool players: Craig Hlady on guitar, Doug Sondak on alto Sax and flute, Dave Mercure on bass and Brendan on drums. Committed to the unity of musical integrity and emotion, the Nextet is always full of surprises, with a touch of humor and a bit of attitude, so come on down and check out the show!
