The Makanda Project's spring concert series at the Dudley Library begins on March 2. Featured guest is alto saxophonist Joe Ford, known for his long association with McCoy Tyner. Mr. Ford was also a student of Makanda Ken McIntyre's in the late 1960s. Included in the program will be three Makanda Ken McIntyre compositions that the group will be preforming for the first time.
