Keyboardist Geoff Cleveland and violinist Jennifer Matsuura were members of Cleveland's late-90s avant-garde collective The Emergency Broadcast Players (along with Ron Miles and two founding members of Kneebody). Geoff and Jennifer had been out of touch for over 26 years, which was the last time they had played together. This duo project is the beginnings of a bigger EBP reunion that is planned. Since the EBP, Geoff Cleveland has led several bands performing his music, most notably Hate Camels (2006-09) which included guitarist Dave Devine. Cleveland has not led a band in performance for nearly two years (June 26, 2023 at the Armadillo Ranch in Manitou Springs CO, see video below).
