Joel Aspinall Trio at JMI Live

Joel Aspinall is a Brisbane Saxophonist and graduate from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. During his time at the Con, he studied under many of Australia’s premier saxophonists including James Sandon, Zac Hurren, Dale Barlow, Troy Roberts, Julien Wilson and Rafael Karlen. He continues to be a busy freelance performer on the Australian music scene, playing and recording with a variety of original projects including Fat Picnic, BULLHORN, Bearfoot, Pending? and First Beige.

This performance will also feature current Conservatorium students Dom Machen (Drums) and Bede Prince (Double Bass), as they showcase a selection of compositions by the likes of John Coltrane, Joe Henderson, Shannon Barnett, Zac Hurren and Walter Smith III....
