ABOUT ROB MCWILLIAMS
An ensemble put together to perform standards and some of Rob’s original compositions spanning the last few decades. Rob was born and raised in Melbourne and played professionally on the scene there in the late ’70’s and throughout the ’80’s including stints with fusion band McDonald’s Farm and mainstream jazz group Wilbur Wilde’s Blowout.
He was resident in the USA from 1991 to 2014 where he was a professor of music at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh directing ensembles and teaching courses in conducting, music education, and jazz. He relocated to Brisbane in 2015 where he now freelances as a musician, educator, and conductor as well as working for Yamaha Music Australia as their Education Outreach Clinician. Ticket Refund Policy:
If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms and are unable to attend after having purchased a ticket, please contact the JMI office (07) 3216 1110 or email [email protected]) as soon as possible during business hours (10AM-4PM) to let us know you won’t be able to attend. A full refund will be given if we are contacted prior to a performance. Refunds will not be processed if we are contacted after the gig.
