Two of her CD’s won Best Jazz CD at the Queensland Sunnie Music Industry Awards and she received a Music award for co-writing a Best Original Jazz Song with her college Dr Louise Denson for “Time To Be”. A finalist in the Bell Awards for her CD “ Essence” (2005), Ingrid has continued recording and writing music. Currently, Ingrid is collaborating with Dr. Louise Denson in their long term project “Wild Silk Strings Project” (a co-writing/co-bandleading project with strings, horns, voice and a rhythm section).
