The Jazz Social - Event 1 at The Jazz Socail

Watch some of Australia's finest artists in the first of this new live-streaming concert event, started to support artists in the face of lost work due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Tonight's concert features 3 x 20 minute sets from the following artists:

THE VIEW FROM MADELEINE'S COUCH(duo), Brazilian jazz.
Co-founders Anje West and Kym Ambrose play a rare pared-back set of some gorgeous bossa novas from their new album Bossa Nova Sunset Club.... "a landmark album, and a significant contribution to the history of Brazilian-influenced music in Australia"

With a pioneering vision for vocal music, Gian is one of Australia's most inventive and creative musicians. For the inaugural Jazz Social, Gian will be sharing some new music from her forthcoming album, Grey is Ground.
