About

Born in 1987 in Hungary, Márton Juhasz started playing percussion at age eleven. At age 14 he started taking drumset lessons from Hungarian session drummer Zsolt Janky and later from György Jeszenszky. After graduating from high school he enrolled in a one year performance diploma course at Drumtech in London. There he got a chance to fully immerse himself in music and study with teachers like Bosco Di Oliveira, Darryn Farrugia, Erik Stams and Francis Seriau. At the end of the year he was awarded prize for top overall student and had a chance to perform at the graduation ceremony, held in the prestigious Shepherds Bush Empire in London. It was during this year in London that Márton decided to make music his life's pursuit. In 2007 he was accepted to Berklee College of Music in Boston. During his time at the college he had the opportunity to study with Mike Mangini, Hal Crook, Dave Dicenso, Ian Froman and Jamey Haddad. He graduated summa cum laude in 2011 and spent a year in the Boston - New York areas. In August 2012 he relocated to Europe....
