His quartet including guitarist Giovanni Francesca, bass player Dario Miranda and drummer Giampiero Franco released last year Harmozein, an album where aesthetics and language of Tedesco’s music comes to blossom in climaxes of inspiration, through indisputably contemporary rhythms and colours. Their jazz is up-to-date with the latest trends in sound or usage of electronics and still sensitive in bringing together experimentation with tradition. The expressiveness of electroacoustic music is accompanied by a creative and unique fusion of energy and melody, rough prog-rock and visceral funk-dub, played and performed with excellent technique both of the leader and of his young fellow-musicians. Their repertoire is distinguished by freshness and a variety of cultural and musical paths taken on their present travel of composition and free improvisation.
