The most important for Kristóf Bacsó is his own band, TRIAD, an experimental musical workshop whose sound has been a great success at numerous festivals both at home and abroad. TRIAD's music draws both from the present and from the music traditions of Central and Eastern Europe. Alongside carefully crafted passages, improvisations and the search for unconventional paths play an important role. The trio's debut album, Pannon Blue, was released on BMC Records and featured world-renowned guitarist Lionel Loueke as a guest. In 2017, the album won the "Hungarian Jazz Album of the Year" award from Gramofon magazine.
In 2022, they recorded their second album Imaginary Faces, which was released by BMC Records in November 2022 and also received critical acclaim:
The Triad's music is at once abstract and richly layered, direct and engaging, not a transcendent phenomenon alien to the world, but a form of communication in close contact with reality, reflecting on social, historical and personal moments.
