Multi-awarded drummer, composer and arranger Péter Szendőfi, leader of Fusio Group is well-known from several different groups as well: he runs Loop-Doctors with Gary Willis since 2005, Transition with Róbert Szakcsi Lakatos since 2008, and is a former member of several Hungarian groups like the Attila László Band, Áron Romhányi Trio, Birta Life Pictures, János Nagy Trio, among others.

Fusio Group was formed in 1992, though called Fusio Quartet at the time. Their style is marked from the beginning by the jazz-fusion idiom, still with a repertoire rather eclectic on a wide scale: traditional arrangements are often mixed with progressive themes and harmonies.
