They will be accompanied by Aleks Maslakovs, now a harmonica player.

Aleks Maslakovs was born in 1985 in Daugavpils (Latvia). He received his first accordion lessons at the age of 8. Because of his talent he was selected for a preparatory course at the age of 10 and then studied accordion, conducting, orchestration and bandleading with Valery Hodukin at the Daugavpils Music College (Latvia).
During his studies he was a prize-winner in several international competitions. Aleks gained a lot of stage experience by performing on Latvian television.
He continued his harmonica studies with professors Hugo Noth and Hans Maier at the "Hochschule für Musik Trossingen" (Germany), where he also studied piano, drums and music theory.
In 2006, Aleks founded the "Accordion Jazz Project D'ACCORD", which provides the perfect platform for experimentation as a composer and arranger.
Since 2014 Aleks has played in the "Open World Stage Workshop" orchestra (Forum der Kulturen) in Stuttgart. In this project he also worked with Jorge Pardo, Theodosii Spassov and Trilok Gurtu.
Since 2014 he has been a Victoria Accordions patron.
