The jazz bossa-nova of the Rozina Pátkai Quartet continues its triumphant march not just in Hungary but also worldwide. Since their last gig at the Opus Jazz Club in April, they won first prize of the Made in NY Jazz Competition in the “Best arrangement” category with their Gershwin cover The Man I Love / El Hombre que Yo Amehave, arranged by Márton Fenyvesi. Most recent news is that this year they won the second time a first prize at the IMA (Independent Music Awards), this time not the Audience Prize but the jury's First Prize in the “Best Jazz Vocal Song” category with the above-mentioned piece.
