The interaction of this duo of virtuosic Gipys players is best described as the highest degree of musical telepathy which is not surprising in the case of identical twins. Guitarist ROLAND BALOGH came out of nowhere to win first prize at the Jazz Guitar Competition of the 2009 Montreux International Jazz Festival with a jury chaired by Lee Ritenour. The following year he received the Junior Prima Award. He came second at the Wes Montgomery Memorial Guitar Competition in New York and in 2016 he won first prize at the Six Strings Theory Guitar Competition in Los Angeles. Part of the prize was a joint recording with Lee Ritenour. With his brother, keyboard player ZOLTÁN BALOGH he founded the immensely successful Finucci Brothers smooth jazz outfit. Zoltán was third in the 2010 Jazz Piano Competition in Montreux and also third two years later at a jazz piano competition in Jacksonville Florida....
