Since its inception, the Jelen trio has always been a nomen est omen for today's man, making music of the moment - I feel - in a unique, distinctive, original sound, in which the musical theme can be spontaneous improvisation, a composition of its own, a dusted-off operetta hit, or free improvisation, or even the music of Twin Peaks. It never wants to repeat itself from concert to concert, to please or flatter you, but it wants to be something that happens HERE AND NOW with us and for us. That's why we are.
