László Vörös Quartet at Opus Jazz Club

The quartet was founded in 2006, then under the name KvarTonus, by students of the Music Conservatory and the Music Academy. In their present line-up, unchanged since 2009, besides founding members László Vörös, Eszter Strausz and András Csizmás we find Tamás Geröly at the drums, a characteristic figure active since decades on the Hungarian scene, who was always willing to play with musicians of the younger generations, inspiring them by his experience and gaining energy from their freshness. The modern, loose compositions of the pianist leader László Vörös give enough space for the members to reveal their own musical style and talent as well....
