Clock’s Pointer Dance, an Italian quintet from Lombardy, was formed in October 2015, on occasion of the first JazzForum in Annecy, where they represented ClusoneJazz Festival, one of the most important jazz events in Italy. Since then they have worked and played intensly and meanwhile recorded their eponymous first album, released on the Italian label UR Records in May 2017.

The bassless quintet pairs a strong winds frontline, typical for jazz, with an unusual rhythm section of guitar and drums, distinguished by more resonance for rock music. Clock’s Pointer Dance is a true collective, all members are composers as well, working together on the arrangements to find the sound they are looking for and to make the best possible out of each one of them. Thus the music is the result and synthesis of all members' musical past experiences and influences.
