Guitarist Peter Rom, the co-founder of JazzWerkstatt Wien is responsible for the distinctive guitar sounds. Vocal extravaganza is Andreas Schaerer’s trademark, as he has proven it already three times in three different groups for the visitors of the Opus Jazz Club. One of Europe’s most outstanding jazz voices, Schaerer is active as leader of the grotesque and driving group Hildegard lernt fliegen, member of the tremendous Schaerer-Niggli duo, his collaboration with the Swiss Arte Quartet is even documneted on BMC Records. His other projects include artists like Bobby McFerrin, Soweto Kinch or Bänz Oester. He is Professor for Vocal Jazz, Ensemble and Improvisation at Bern University of the Arts since 2009.
Martin Eberle (trumpet, flugelhorn), known for his sensitive and virtuosic trumpet playing, had his studies of classical and jazz trumpet in Vorarlberg and Bern.
