Maxime met Silvio, Oliver and Simon while he studied in Cologne, a city he discovered as one of the greatest Jazz scenes in Germany and Europe and an extremely lively scene. The three musicians are very active in the German Jazz scene. The four of them did not miss any opportunity to play together, and forming a quartet was a natural consequence. Apart from the music, a profound friendship arose between them. “All three of them lead me to keep my ears open and be ready for taking new decisions and directions.
