Joel Jeschke (Edmonton, AB ????) — drummer & composer
Joel’s debut record Time & Place was called “a very high-level contemporary jazz album” by Pan M 360. His music shifts between tension and calm, chaos and melody — thoughtful, lived-in, and always searching for something just out of reach.
Nate Waters Trio (Calgary, AB ????) — saxophone-led trio
Calgary saxophonist Nate Waters brings a trio with bassist Jeff Gammon and drummer Afo Fapojuwo. Drawing from post-bop traditions and modern rock structures, the group focuses on original music — tight, expressive, and ready to record their debut album. Think Trio Jeepy, Village Vanguard, and the raw spirit of Elvin Jones.
