Formed in September of 2011, Bebop has been a steadily rising force in the Santa Cruz jazz scene. After a stream of performances, this small jazz combo—composed of members ranging in age from 12 to 18—has reached a musical maturity beyond their years. This combo’s blend of straight-ahead jazz, Latin jazz and slight elements of funk and R&B will leave you gaping at the ability and groove of such young musicians. Bebop performed this past August at our very own San Jose Jazz Summer Fest. Bebop's Halloween performance will leave you screaming with excitement.
