About
Pianist, trumpeter and educator, Bob Athayde has long been recognized for his enormous contribution to the East Bay jazz scene. As music director for Stanley Middle School in Lafayette since 1986, he has built a jazz program that consistently produces award-winning ensembles and outstanding soloists. Bob will be performing at the First St. Cafe along with some of his favorite jazz musicians.
