This Sunday the First Street Cafe is proud to present, The Joe Mattox & Joe Massey Duet. Singer songwriters that they are, these Joe's have been playing together for 40 years--sometimes covering familiar blues and jazz standards or, often as not, playing originals they've written over the years. The variety of sounds and styles ranges from colorful acoustic melodic soundscapes, to up tempo jazz standards, popular and blues. The improvisation that they create during each song keeps it fresh.
