Anthony Hamilton's 1st solo album, Difficultez Technical, he has seldom recorded solo, because he says that, before Watts Prophet Richard's passing, he always preferred the inspiration of working with Richard and Otis and the interaction of their different voices.
Father AmdePoet sees the Watts Prophets, both stylistically and contextually, as a “living bridge” to the past, and his new album remains devoted, as he says of all his work, to people who want to change, to peace and harmony among all people everywhere, and to those who still struggle today in 2015 for things as basic as their right to vote freely. His CD speaks of love among the homeless and hope among the hopeless. It also speaks about “technology and its Yin and Yang,” about “a poetic view of folks on Facebook who face nobody! “AmdePoet says his Energy Project is meant “to demonstrate to youth that Seed, Root, and Fruit are one.” It's meant to allow the listener to experience the happiness and blues that coexist in the heart of a poet who has worked all his life to piece together creativity and understanding.
