The 18-piece Stan Kenton Legacy Orchestra, conducted by Mike Vax. In tribute to Stan, this is not a ghost band, but, besides playing a few standard Kenton fare, plays new originals and arrangements by it's members. Recently back from touring the Midwest, this orchestra contains many Kenton alumni. A rare Los Angeles area appearance.
