Guitarist Eddie Duran has been a key player on the local jazz scene since the late 1940s. In 1952, he was in Charlie Parker's quartet for a two-week engagement at the Say When Club on Bush Street. Along the way, he's performed and recorded with Chet Baker, Stan Getz, Red Norvo, Earl Fatha Hines, Benny Goodman, Cal Tjader, Vince Guaraldi and more.
