Hailed as “fantastic” and a “jazz guitar virtuoso” by the Portland Phoenix, composer/guitarist Richard Nelson turns his attention to jazz standards in a small-group setting with this free Wednesday night appearance. Expect creative, spontaneous interpretations of familiar (and some not-so-familiar) jazz tunes featuring some of the area’s finest musicians.
