Charlotte’s Jazz Arts Initiative’s monthly series—The Jazz Room @ The Stage Door Theater is the place for cool jazz during the sizzling summer! On Friday, July 21 (6pm & 8:15pm) and Saturday, July 22 (7pm & 9:15pm), The Jazz Room plays tribute to the music of Freddie Hubbard, one of jazz’s most powerful and prolific jazz trumpeters from the 1960’s onward. The Jazz Room provides a casual and intimate setting with tables reminiscent of the classic jazz rooms of yesteryear and a cash bar.
