Eastern Boundary Quartet at Fellini's Restaurant

The Charlottesville Jazz Society is pleased to announce the return of Charlottesville favorites Michael Jefry Stevens (piano) and Joe Fonda (bass), who are bringing their Eastern Boundary Quartet to town for the first time. The Eastern Boundary Quartet is a collaborative unit featuring two Hungarian master musicians: drummer Balazs Bagyi and saxophonist Mihaly Borbely. This quartet first performed together in Europe in 2007. Their 2012 European tour included an ecstatically received concert in Brugge, Belgium, the recording of which has just been released as the group’s third CD.
