The Charlottesville Jazz Society presents New York pianist Norman Pors, returning to his former home of Charlottesville to play with area all-stars. Pors currently teaches piano at Brooklyn Queens Conservatory of Music,and has performed with David Sanborn and The Dave Matthews Band among many others. Playing with Pors are Michael Elswick on sax, Tom Harbeck on guitar, Bob Bowen on bass, and David Drubin drums. This Artist/Educator event begins at 7 pm and ends at 9 pm. Admission is free.
