WTJU 91.1 FM

WTJU is a community based non-profit educational radio station of the University of Virginia. We broadcast jazz & blues programming 32 hours a week and share the airwaves with classical, folk, and rock programming. We are an all volunteer staff of announcers that bring interesting music to the airwaves of central Virginia that you just can't find elsewhere on your radio dial. We report our playlists to JazzWeek, Living Blues, and the College Music Journal. Check our website for show titles and times, but generally jazz & blues are heard mornings 9 to Noon, and evenings 9:00 to 11:00pm.
