This group subsequently included Evan Parker/Derek Bailey/Dave Holland & Kenny Wheeler amongst others. The group innovated and developed a new musical language that is now used all around the World in improvised music. His own groups included Amalgam/Moire Music/Moire Music Drum Orchestra/Celebration Band. Veryan Weston is an absolutely astounding pianist who has been active in European jazz and improvised music since the early 1970s. An inveterate musical explorer, Veryan has participated in a mind-boggling array of projects involved both superb musicians and artists in other media, as well as beautiful solo keyboard performance and theoretical explorations. He is a revelation for anyone with an interest in advanced pianistics.
