Last year we had the great pleasure of presenting clarinetist James Falzone's Allos Musica Trio. A beautiful and memorable performance it was, and it led to this evening with Vox Arcana, in which James is a member of a superb trio, organized by primary composer Timothy Daisy.
Their CD, aerial age, is a beauty, with a lovely balance between the compositional structures and the improvisation that occurs within these forms. The 3 players are all amongst the best on their instruments. JazzTimes calls it "a stunning recording".
