CHICAGO, IL – Ava Logan, “A jewel of a vocalist” as Harry Porterfield of CBS 2 Chicago calls her, returns to the Skokie Theatre, 7924 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie in an all new performance “Girls Night Out!” Saturday, December 18 at 8 p.m. Ava Logan, veterinarian by day, busy jazz vocalist by night, pays her respects to these luminaries of the 21th Century with an evening of songs performed originally by Diana Ross, Natalie Cole, Barbra Streisand, Diana Krall, Roberta Flack and Whitney Houston. Featuring classics like “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, “Inseparable”, “The Way We Were”, “The Look of Love”, “The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face” and “I Will Always Love You”, Ava will have something for every musical taste and background. Pianist, Stuart Elster, of Hollywood, CA. will accompany Ava in this show. Stuart has performed with many national stars. Ava was privileged to perform with him during her recent performance in Beverly Hills, CA. He transitions seamlessly from Jazz to Pop to R&B. An exciting ensemble will be created when Stuart is playing with some of Chicago’s finest musicians!
