Jazz remains an American art form that takes in music from many decades. From its inception in the 20th century to current forms that allow jazz artists to interpret music of many different genres, the music continues to grow and expand. We look forward to entertain and educate audiences as to what jazz has to offer through the vehicle of a big band and an orchestra. Both presenting great frameworks for traditional improvisation and for allowing the music to live and breathe in a new light.
